WASHINGTON – This week, the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure voted to advance Rep. Tony Wied’s bill, the FROST Act, with bipartisan support. 

Rep. Wied introduced the Facility for Runway Operations and Safe Transportation (FROST) Act on May 15, 2025, to allow Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Funds to be utilized in the acquisition of storage facilities for aircraft de-icing equipment.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Tony Wied (R-Wis.) and Congresswoman Linda T. Sánchez (D-Calif.) yesterday introduced a bipartisan resolution designating the last Saturday of March as "Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day."

The resolution provides long-overdue recognition to thousands of Vietnam War veterans for their selfless service to the nation. The last Saturday of March, which this year falls on March 29, marks the day when the final U.S. combat troops completed their service and departed Vietnam.

Rep. Wied introduced the Unplug the Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Programs Act to end the failed electric vehicle (EV) charging station programs from the so-called infrastructure bill that resulted in just 59 stations being built nationwide in over three years despite the $7.5 billion price tag.
